With nearly a decade of experience as Head of Product, Boris Petrovitch Njegosh (linkedin) has a strong background in design and expertise in facilitation and design thinking.

Boris began his career at Renault Group in 2010 as the Digital Creative Director, where he focused on improving mobile design and enhancing user experiences.

In 2015, Boris cofounded INTERSTELLAR, where he led digital transformations for major blue-chip companies. Multiple time awards and nominated for his remarkable contributions and achievements within the facilitation community is adept facilitation and design thinking skills guarantee a lifespan experience on his templates collection.

This exercise brings together teams and stakeholders to gain a shared understanding of their goals, drivers and barriers. You can find out what is slowing you down, or if the purpose or goals are not quite right.

🤓 HOW DO WE RUN IT ?

This workshop is designed to be driven in 60 to 90 minutes following the instructions :

A - WHAT'S THE GROUP ISLAND ?

1. Ask the group to write on notes (N) what they believe the team or project's goals are.
2. Ask each member to share what they've written as you sort them in the island box.

B - HOW TO SAIL THAT BOAT ?

1. The Sail represent what's driving the team or the project towards the goal. Ask the group to write on notes (N) what are the drivers
2. Ask each member to share what they've written as you sort them in the sail box.

C - WHAT ANCHORS ARE SLOWING YOU DOWN ?

1. The anchor represents the barriers to the goal. Ask the group to write on notes (N) what's slowing or stopping achieving the goals.
2. Ask each member to share what they've written as you sort them in the anchor box.

D - LAST BUT NOT LEAST

Start a voting session asking the group to identify two best Island, sail and anchor note per participant.

They have two vote per box (6 votes per participants). you can bring the top voted idea into the right side of the board sharing the converged sailboat with the team !
